I saved up to buy a quest 3 and when I got it I could buy games but one day after getting it, I couldn't buy games, I still cant. Meta support please help. I tried all the things mentioned I even tried getting a friend to gift it and he got the same error
(Edit) I had a oculus before the thing is i can add a payment methode but after i type in my pin it lodes for a bit and after that the error comes upp

Hi,
They responded right away, however I managed to fix it myself. It seems there are 3 different places you could add a payment card. The phone didn't work, but there appears to be 2 different places you could add your payment card online in your profile, but it was hard to fine.

The day that Quest 3 was announced, i immediately bought a headset. The purchase was successful. Later Meta canceled the order with no explanation. That was 7 days ago. I have done chat-help probably a dozen times. Every time they say "we'll tell our specialist team and we'll get back to you", they never get back, i've heard nothing.
When i go to my account I am now unable to add any payment method, it says "We noticed something unusual and, for your security, this request couldn't be completed". I've tried four different credit cards, i KNOW it's not my cards that are the problem.
Meta support is supremely unhelpful.

Hello,
I am having the same issue that I cannot buy anything anymore because something strange happened and for my own safety it is blocked.
I tried adding different payment methods and deleting my old one. Nothing worked. I tried all the steps you mentioned in the post above and those did not work. I contacted your support but I’m hearing nothing back. I just received the quest 3 and would love to give you guys more money to actually use it. This should not be this hard.

to set expectations, they're NOT going to assist you. they're going to "send it to our specialist team who will contact you via email". it will take at least a week for them to get back to you, where they will ask you questions you have already answered several times. they will then say they fixed it, please try again. it won't be fixed. then they will go silent.
