Can’t use mixed reality camera on iPhone since v37

I have an iPhone 13 pro max and the option to use the mixed reality camera just vanished, I’m using iOS 15.3.1, quest 2 v37, oculus app 150.0 but as you can see there’s no option anymore on the right corner of the screenshot, I’m already contacted the support they told me to factory reset the oculus, clear Bluetooth data and reinstall oculus app, I did it all and didn’t worked for me, anyone else having a similarly problem?

We've noticed some users have been experiencing the missing icon as well. We are currently working on tuning the mobile mixed reality camera, so some Quest users may lose access to this experimental feature during this time. By making adjustments at this experimental stage, we hope to improve the overall MMRC experience in the future! We truly appreciate your patience as we aim to improve the Metaverse for all!

Hello Juant800. Thanks for reaching out. We understand wanting use such an awesome feature, mix media Reality. We're going to do our very best to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

Your device is compatible so lets make sure that you're setting it correctly.

Mobile mixed reality camera is intended to be a two-person cast and capture experience where both the caster and the viewer are using devices on the same WiFi network.

  1. Have the viewer open the Oculus mobile app on a compatible phone and tap .
  2. Tap  to go to the Mobile Mixed Reality Camera mode
  3. For the person wearing the headset, the mobile mixed reality camera setup app will open automatically. If it doesn’t, make sure that both the headset and phone are on the same WiFi network
  4. Select Begin Setup to calibrate the Touch controllers.
  • This in-headset prompt shows for the first few times that you use mobile mixed reality camera

      5. Place the Touch controllers on a flat surface with the ring side down, and the handles pointing up.

      6. Have the viewer point the phone towards the Touch controllers. When this is completed, the calibration feature will create two virtual rings.

      7. Have the viewer follow the onscreen instructions to map the left circle to the ring on the left controller, and the right circle to the ring on your right controller.

  •     Before completing this step, check from a few angles to make sure the virtual ring is centered directly on top of the controller ring.

        8. When the controller calibration is complete, both the person in VR and the viewer will receive confirmation of a completed calibration.

        9. From here, the person in VR will be prompted to open up a compatible app like Beat Saber.

  • You can find a list of apps that work with mobile mixed reality camera under compatibility requirements in the section above.

       10. Once the person in VR launches a compatible app, the viewer will be able to see the VR environment as well as how the person wearing the headset is interacting with the app in VR.

  • You can also record the experience to share it later.

This symbol vanished, doesn’t appear anymore

Oh no! Let's see if we can get that symbol to come back. Please navigate to your settings and turn off Experimental Features. After you've done this, restart your headset and then turn the Experimental Features back on.

Let us know if this allows you access to use the Mixed Reality feature. 👍😊

Same, all i get is a solid black screen when casting, this feature is definitely just another unfinished beta, a 3d menu for smartsheet / instagram / facebook / spike, while in this environment, would be very useful here...

Not working for me neither. I don't see that yoshe95si_0-1646086625350.png icon.

Would sure be nice! I got a new greenscreen and was excited to test out Mixed Realty again... only to find the button missing!

Over a month later, any update for those of us missing the icon?
