Can't use the headset at all!

It has a black screen. Dark screen, whatever. Can't get it to come off of it. I factory reset trying to sideload an update. Nothing's changed. It will not let me get past the meta logo. I get three dots and then that's it. I'm being told that this thing isn't in warranty I haven't had it 6 months! Somebody needs to help or fix this issue. I can't use a controller. I can't do anything on the headset other than turn it off turn the volume up sometimes and get into Device information

Hey @booboo14.2024 , we are deeply disheartened to learn your VR experience with Meta has come to a halt due to black screen issues and understand that it is incredibly frustrating to have such a disruption in your VR experience. Therefore, we would like to suggest you some steps you could follow for the black screen issue resolution.

Hard Reboot the headset

  • Hold down the power button and volume down button for 30 seconds until you hear the boot-up sound
  • If the boot-up sound is not heard:
    1. Hold the power and volume (-) button down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
    2. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight "Boot Device" and press the power button.
    3. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.
