I just installed the developer hub, and I encountered this incredibly irritating problem right after. I went through all suggestions on various boards with no luck, but I may have stumbled upon what (I hope) is a solution. I went back into my developer preferences in the home settings menu (Settings > System > Developer), unchecked "custom settings," then went back and re-checked it. The "music" vanished. I don't know if this is a permanent fix, but it's good for now. Did others start experiencing the problem after they uploaded developer hub?
