Cannot add window, door or table when playing Drop Dead Cabin Home Invasion

I am trying to setup to play drop dead cabin home invasion. It wants me to add window, door and table but the only thing it does is scan the room and then keep asking me to be done or rescan. Never am I getting an option to add anything.

Hey @Misty2017, and thank you for your patience! We see that you're coming across a glitch in the game when trying to add certain things. We know how vexing this might be, and we'd love to help you with it. Please try the following:

 

  • Uninstall and reinstall the app.
  • Reboot the headset.
  • Check to make sure your internet connection is good.

Yeah, this game definitely has issues.  I get the indefinite black screen trying to launch home invasion. I was able to scan the room and find the windows doors and table.  Doesn’t matter, still has issues.

  1. Is the app downloaded and installed on the headset.
  2. Are you able to launch other applications? Does the problem occur with more than one app?
  3. When did this start? Were any changes made?
  4. Is the Home Environment having any issues?

It’s only with this app and it seems to mirror other people’s problems with that mode.  I tried someone else’s solution and ended up going to a smaller room which made it work.  Maybe it’s a memory issue on the scan size for MR with that game.  It’s on a 128gb q3 and I only used about a third of the storage.
