Cannot connect to wifi on my Meta Quest 2 and the serial isnt recognised

I currently cannot do anything, my serial will not be verified through the website even though its on the headset, this error is displayed: "Invalid serial number. Check that you provided the correct serial number for your Meta Quest 2 headset." The website seems to think i dont have a device and i cant prove in any way so i cant contact support, the only thing that still recognises/remembers my vr is the mobile app. My vr wont connect to wifi so i cant update or do anything and i have tried to connect it to my pc but i still cant update it or anything so currently there is nothing i can do and all i know now is that there customer support is severly underworked on.

We know its never ideal when you cannot set up your device but we are here to help and get you back on track and into the Metaverse.

 

A common mistake users make is they use their box serial number instead of the headset serial number can you please double check the serial number you are using, if you follow this link here it will show you were to find the serial number. 

 

For the WIFI issue can you attempt to disable the dual band setting on your router as this can also cause issues between the headset and the router.
