Cannot enable developer mode MTP on Meta quest 1

Im following this guide https://developers.meta.com/horizon/documentation/native/android/mobile-device-setup/ to enable custom settings and mtp notifications in developer mode, on my meta quest 1 device.

However, after enabling developer mode, I do not see "enable custom settings" under the developer tab.

Could you help with this?

@josephzhu  you could try factory resetting the headset to clear any bad settings. Note, that if you do reset the headset, you'll have to use an older version of the meta android app as the current one stalls at the safety video.

The Quest 1 doesn't have those same settings, it's OS stopped updating at v50, the Quest 2 and above are at v72 now.

I think the v50 equivalent of the MTP notification setting was called Developer / USB Connection Dialog.
