Cannot install Oculus PC app in a custom folder on Win 11 PC

Gruntled

I've been using Oculus link on PC on an older Win 10 machine and it's installed to D:\Games\Oculus.
I recently got a new AMD machine with Windows 11, and when installing the Oculus app on there it wouldn't allow me to install to the similar D:\Games\Oculus folder on the new PC.   It only allowed to install on the root of 😧 drive but I can't move it to inside of D:\Games\ any ideas how I can fix it?

I saw some older threads/posts here and on Reddit but it didn't resolve the issue, I think it was referring to an older version of the Oculus PC app from years ago.

Hey there, @Gruntled! We've noticed that you're facing some issues while installing the PC app on your preferred driver. No worries, we've got you covered with some simple and helpful instructions below. Just follow these steps:

1. Move the OculusSetup.exe file to the new drive directory (for example, D:).

2. Press the Win+R keys together to open the run prompt, then type "cmd" and hit "Enter".

3. After the "C:\Users\(username)>" prompt, type "cd/".

4. Now, type "OculusSetup.exe /drive=[drive]" after "C:\>".

Hello, I was able to get it installed on the "D" drive so now it's on D:\Oculus\,  but I wanted to install to D:\Games\Oculus\ but the installer would not let me to that, even with the method above.
