Cannot resolve "Take Action" message telling me to verify age

I've received the below message four times now and have responded four times.

Each time, I respond that I'm the account owner, I verify my age using a Credit Card, it charges my credit card and then it tells me to look for a code on my MetaQests.  NO CODE appears.

The Metaquest is otherwise working fine.  I'm using it to play games and am logged in but then I get this message again to Take Action or my account will be disabled.

How do I stop this "loop"?!

Here is the message I keep receiving:

To make sure you can keep using this account, we'll need you to show you're 13 or older, or ask a parent to get you into an account meant for someone 10-12.

Be sure to take action by April 9 or this account will stop working and you'll lose access to apps and games. Learn more

Go to auth.meta.com/verify and log in to get started, or go directly there by clicking the “Get started” button.

OK, I solved the problem.

1.  I followed the prompt to Take Action and verified my age using a Credit Card.

2.  After my Credit Card was charged $1.00, it prompted me to click Next and look for a Code on my MetaQuest.

3.  No code appeared but I left my verification window open.

4.  In another window I visited:  https://accountscenter.meta.com/password_and_security

5.  I clicked on "Where you logged in" :  https://accountscenter.meta.com/password_and_security/login_activity

6.  I looked for Devices that were logged into my Facebook account and logged them out.

7.  I rebooted the MetaQuest 3.

8.  When I clicked on my Profile, it gave me the Code.

9.  I entered that into the Code that was waiting for me in Step 2 above and it accepted my code and the MetaQuest 3 was working again.

There are other people including myself having thr same issue. Others have spent hours trying to get a resolution and have been unsuccessful. I started getting those notifications about a month ago and everytime I try to resolve it doesn't tell me what to do.

Lucky you. I never once got my 8 digit device age verification code despite having used my credit card AND leaving the verification window open. I had to factory reset it (after booting it up to get that code) as the agent suggested. Still, no code. I guess I'm just going to lose all the games I've paid for and my account. This bites! :,-(

Okay. I had to log out of every-single-time I've ever logged into from the beginning of time despite never having been logged into Facebook. 😛  After having done that, voilà!, the blasted 8 digit code appeared. Grrr. This experience was one of the worse, stressful ones ever all to save an expensive piece of hardware...

thank you, Richleino, for sharing that valuable information.

Luckily, this works for you guys. I tried logging off, and it just logs me back on.

Oh gosh, you make me nervous. I'll try and see if this helps.

Ok, the fix worked for me, "don't stress" to anyone else in the future that has this problem!
