Hello,
I bought second hand Quest 2 with one broken controller because for my needs, I would need only one controller.
The headset itself doesn't have warranty anymore. I had broken controller replaced with a refurbished one.
The problem is that I factory reseted the headset when I got home. So now I am stuck at the pairing screen (where it shows to remove the black stripes from the controllers).
Putting a refurbished controller into pairing mode did not work (headset does not detect it and it doesn't appear as the original controller that came with the headset from factory.), but I can't connect headset to the internet nor bluetooth because I am on the pairing screen.
As far as I know and I can see, I am not able at this point to use the gaze function which support mentioned couple of times because I don't see any button to enable it or anything neither I can skip this animation where it shows me to remove the black stripes, only thing I can see is the number for my Meta Horizon App. If you have any tutorial or screenshots how should I do that, I would kindly appreciate it.
Sadly, also my phone won't connect to the meta app, I tried on iphone and android phones. It detects it, but doesn't connect. Again, I assume the problem is in the headset not being connected to internet and having bluetooth active.
So now I am stuck here with actually completely functional headset, but not being able to set it up. Wondering if there is any way I can somehow bypass the pairing screen without one controller or atleast connect my headset to the meta app properly so I can maybe add the refurbished controller on the headset.
I had numerous conversations with support each time with similar methods, none of them work, at the end they connected me with “specialized team” via email from whom I did not get a response once I wrote them all of the above.
I will leave screenshots and a video of my problem here as well.

Hey there, @han13378. While we hate to hear it's been a bumping start launching in to VR, we'd love to step in and continue working with you to get to the bottom of things. With the headset currently not paired to the mobile app, we will want to work on this first prior to pairing the new controller.
To get started, we see several steps have been taken prior, but we want to make sure the following have been attempted:

Hello,
Thank you for a quick reply.
It was tested on an iPhone 13 with 17.5.1. version of iOS which is currently not the latest for this phone, but I will update my iOS tonight and try it with the latest version as well as latest version lf Meta Horizon app.
Android phone that was used is Huawei P Smart 2016 with the latest version of the application.
I have tested on my 4G network as well as on WiFi network on both phones. Headset is unable to connect to any WiFi due to being unable to get past the setup screen as shown above.
