Cant Login to Oculus Quest Link Software (Black Screen)

Once again having this problem still. I cant use my vr on pc anymore because of this problem please help me out. 
Tried all methods usually used like reinstalling on a new drive. Updating and all of the above. I need a workaround or a fix please I need some help soon! At this point im thinking about just refunding and saving up for a Index.

I am having the same issue i cant log in on the quest pc app so please fix somthing.

Just so we understand you correctly, are you saying when in PCVR you are experiencing a black desktop view or are you saying you can't log in? We eagerly await your response!

@MetaQuestSupport I'm having the same issue with the black screen.  When I open the app on my PC it loads a transparent window with the pointer flickering and loading.....eventually it will show a black screen, but nothing is there.  I'm running Windows 11 with i7 chip NVIDIA RTX4060 32GB Ram all the bells and whistlesmeta.jpg

Hey there @heyy1220! It looks like you're dealing with a black screen on your PC, and we want to help you get back to enjoying your VR experience. Let's work through this together! We'll try some troubleshooting steps, and please keep us posted on how it goes!

 

To fix this, you need to ensure Oculus\Support\oculus-runtime\OVRServer_x64.exe is using the same graphics device as their 2D Desktop.

 

  1. Go to Windows Settings > System  > Display > Graphics Settings
     
  2. Click Graphics performance preference
     
  3. Click Choose an app to set preference > Desktop app
     
  4. Locate your OVRServer_x64.exe. By default, this will be located as follows: C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-runtime\OVRServer_x64.exe
  5. Click Add
     
  6. Set this to Power Saving then close the settings menu and click Save
    • If this does not work or is already the setting selected, Performance Mode can be tried instead
       
  7. Reset the computer and test VR Desktop

Something to attempt would be to try disabling the integrated graphics in your device manager and see if that makes any difference.
