Cant connect my meta quest 2 to my phone

I was having issues with my Quest 2 that didn't allow me to play online games saying that I was not connected to the internet, but I was. So I did a factory reset. Now it wont even let me connect my phone to my Quest 2 saying it cant pair. I have deleted my data so to remove the quest from my phone, but wont let me re connect it saying it can not pair. I check my wifi restarted it many times and the wifi is fine but it still wont connect and my phone is also connected to my wifi and my wifi is connected to my quest 2 also.. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there! We thank you for trying some troubleshooting steps on your own, it's good to see you're ahead of us. We hate to hear you device isn't connecting to your phone. We know how that could hinder your gameplay. Could you please try the following:

  • Check to make sure your headset is nearby and turned on.
  • Check your Wi-Fi signal. If your signal isn't strong, try moving closer to your wireless router (internet connection device).
  • Check to make sure your headset and mobile phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Check to make sure your headset is fully charged.
  • Make sure that your app is up-to-date.
  • Log out of the mobile app, then log back in.
  • Uninstall then reinstall the mobile app.

As you are facing experiencing connectivity issues with your Quest 2, here are few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem. First, try restarting both your headset and phone. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and forget the Quest 2 device in your Bluetooth settings.

If the problem persists, reset your phone's network settings and reinstall the Oculus app. If none of these steps work, contacting Oculus Support is recommended. It's important to double-check that your Wi-Fi network is working properly for online gaming. Still if you need any help, you can read at Basket Random Unblocked.
