Cant download games

Im actually sick and tired of this bs. I bought ghosts of tabor. Tried to reinstall it and now it wont, keeps getting stuck on 80% then deletes. Meta, fix this issue. This is so absurd, you guys keep making new headsets but cant hire better tech people. Fix this issue, please. Ive tried everything it wont work

Hi again,

Thanks for providing that for us, here is some more troubleshooting to attempt lets see if this works.

Sometimes the account login can be "Invalidated," such as when the password is changed.

When this happens, the headset may remain usable but will experience issues with accessing account settings and library items not already downloaded to the headset. 

Logging back into the account should prompt a resync of the library with the account and update the library contents.

For Meta Quest headset:

  1. Hold the power button down until the shutdown options appear.
  2. Power off the headset. Do a full shutdown, not just a restart.
  3. Log out of the Meta Horizon mobile app.
  4. Restart the mobile phone.
  5. Log in to the Meta Horizon mobile app.
  6. Power the headset back on.

This may also be an issue with your internet connection as to download games, you will require a strong Wi-Fi connection, so please try downloading the game while closer to your router.

With a standalone headset, also check that the headset is successfully pairing to the mobile app by going to Devices in the mobile app.

Things to keep in mind when trying to pair the headset to the mobile app:

  • The phone must have its Bluetooth turned on.
  • The phone and headset must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. When using a dual-band router, make sure they are connected to the same band (2.4 GHz or 5.0 GHz).
