Read that you can use Any chrome cast item, so I used my ipad instead. Even if you have an old phone you could put the sim card on there then move it back for Xperia pairing issues like I had.

Mine is issue with Xperia phone, I may see if ipad will work just to finish account, you done yet.?

I have a Sony Xperia 1 IV, brand new Oculus/Meta Quest 2 and I too am having pairing issues with the headset..  did you manage to resolve your issue... can't believe I bought the Quest 2 expecting to be all joyous and happy and so far nothing but frustrated and wanting to throw it in the bin. If you have any luck please let me know.

Unable to pair Meta Quest 3 to laptop PC

-Trying for three days and not success to pair the new headset to my PC

-Found several articles and set the priority for the OVRServer_x64.exe

-My PC connected to the cable with the headset says: Unable to find PC. Even thought I am in the same network, wifi, account etc.

-Saw a message "Graphic card incompatible with Riff system. Found articles to resolve the issue but still unable to pair my headset with the Pc.

Could you please help me? Many thanks.

Hey there, @aicarope.2023! We see you're unable to connect your Meta Quest 3 to your laptop. Adding this little extra something to your VR experience can really make it pop, so we'd be happy to help! Let us be your superhero troubleshooters, ready to swoop in and save the day! To ease your worries, please take a look at these steps:

  • Ensure all cables are properly plugged into the PC in the right ports.
  • Whitelist the Oculus software in your anti-virus/firewall
  • Confirm your PC meets the minimum requirements and system recommendations.
  • Laptop: Ensure the port the headset is connected to, is running through the primary GPU and not integrated. This can usually be done through the graphic card settings.
