Cant update to v67

User5
Honored Guest

The quest 3 I originally bought had a fan noise issue, I contacted support and they wanted me to return it so I did, The replacement they sent was on OS version 60.0.0 and I cannot update it to v67.

I have tried..

  • power cycling
  • factory reset (many times)
  • Using the browser update tool
  • going to PTC and installing v68
  • Leave the battery fully run out
  • Various combinations of the above

No matter what I try the issue is the same, I am stuck on 60.0.0, and if I try to update the next time the quest turns on it goes into a boot loop for about 6 or 7 cycles, then boots normally.

I also contacted support about this, a week ago they told me to use the update tool and I havent heard from the since or gotten any replies.

What can I do?
