I added the quest 3 refurbished to my cart, went to checkout, used my email and connected the SHOP account. I then added my credit card, placed the order and it was declined by my provider, i needed to click "Yes this was me" as per their fraud check.
once i did that i tried to place the order again, the checkout on meta said "Declined" again, nothing happened and i waited to see. i then tried again (third times the charm) but it again said "Declined"
I then checked my cards app again to make sure it wasn't blocking the charge, it didn't block the charge but went through twice.
the meta checkout didn't refresh, or give me a confirmation, I also didn't get a confirmation email from Facebook meta.
I waited and the charges stayed there, i then realized on the top right i could login to my meta account, which i then did to see if it somehow was linked already, but it wasn't.
I also checked the SHOP app and nothing was on there either.
I called my credit card company and they told me the charges are for sure on there and to contact META to get it figured out, so I don't get charged twice and to get a confirmation from you guys
The only thing is i didn't get a reference number or confirmation etc. because on the META checkout it just said "declined"
I told this to the agent on Meta Live chat, he said a specialist would reach out to me via email, but after reading that some people don't hear back for weeks i wanted to post here just in case, since its $1200 worth of charges on my card without any confirmation of an order.
