Casting from a VR headset to another VR headset without internet connection

Hi,

I want to know if there's a way to cast from quest 3 to another quest 3. They are connected to the same LAN but there's no internet connection.

I really don't think that would be a good idea, if it were even possible. Whoever is on the receiving end of the cast is going to experience very bad motion sickness, immediately.

2D casting can be enough. Is this possible?

I haven't tested it but you could potentially use the Oculus casting site in Meta Quest Browser.

As well as being on the same network, you'd need to log in to the same account, at the very least in the browser. I don't know if you'd need the same profile on both headsets, too.

However, the casting method described on the website requires an internet connection. I want to cast via LAN without needing an internet connection.

My mistake. In that case, it's not possible at the moment in any way that I could think of. Every casting method requires a wireless connection.

What's your use case? Maybe there's another way around it.
