The problem is that it is not possible to center 180° 3D (online) video images on the floor or ceiling of the room.
Image centering (by holding the button on the controller or menu) 3D video 180° is possible only in a circle (horizontal axis). Centering the image along the vertical axis in 3D video 180° --- is not possible at all!!
Tried through Meta Quest Browser, Firefox Reality, YouTube VR... On Oculus GO, this worked only in GizmoVR (the built-in browser), but for Quest 2, this application is not available in the store.
Why is it so difficult to do this? (question to developers)
Of course, it's not difficult, who has access to the code... And what are the priorities and how many more years to wait, if this is one of the foundations of comfort in VR and this has not been decided from the very beginning of Oculus development....!
Hey hey, to be honest, the best way to get this noticed by the engineers is to post it in the ideas section of the forums. That's where they roam, looking for features to bring out later on. There's also a section for Ideas of the month (which depends on the type of idea they're looking for monthly.)
