Change birthday

Hey,

 

No idea if im in the right place, but I have been trying to change the birthday on my account for probably 6 months now with no succes. Only get that I have reached the limit and must contact for help, dont even get a place to contact for help... And never changed my birthday in the first place either 🤷‍:male_sign:🤯🤯 Hoping someone can point me in the right direction

I've been having the same issue for my son's account for months. He entered the wrong birthdate and got locked out of most of the features of his account. We tried to contact support and have been talking with them in circles over a series of many tickets. They don't seem to understand the situation I'm describing, which doesn't seem to complicated to me, and I'm at a loss as to how to make it any simpler. Meanwhile, we've become locked out of his account until we enter the "correct" birthdate, and I have tried the correct one and many incorrect ones. It keeps locking me from trying more dates. It says the account (into which we've invested money and my son has invested a lot of time) will be deleted in 30 days if we don't enter the date they have in mind for his birthday, and I have no idea what date that is. The months of "support" experience has been *extremely* frustrating.

Your private message misses the point entirely (the problem is with my child's account's birthdate, not my own birthdate)
Your private message is not accepting any response. When I try to respond to it, I get the error message "You have reached the limit for number of private messages that you can send for now. Please try again later."

This isn't the problem I am having. I am trying to change the age (well, the birthdate) on my son's managed account. He set the date incorrectly and got locked out of all sorts of features, such as being able to have friends and join private channels with his friends (and family) in the games he play with them (and us). I've been going back and forth with support tickets on this for months, and we are now locked out of the account due to too many attempts to enter the "correct" birth date. I do not know what the system thinks the correct birthdate is at this point. We have put a lot of money and time into his account and do not want to start from scratch with a new account.
 
In the Family Center, I currently see the error message

"You need to confirm [my child's name]'s age"

I then click on "Confirm [my child's name]'s age"

I am them prompted for his birthday.

Entering his correct birthday then gives me an error saying "Too many attempts."

I also tried (before this) the incorrect birthday which he had entered, and a few other things, because it kept telling me I was entering the wrong birthday.

For anyone interested, the private message was just to say they won't help us and all the money and time spent on my son's account is gone because he entered the wrong age and Meta is unwilling to change the age on the account.
