I've researched this high and low, but none of the Meta provided solutions work. I set up a new Oculus account for my son, and I accidentally put the wrong birthday in when I set it up (I accidentally used his younger sibling's birthday because I'm a mom and I'm tired). I cannot change it now. I went to the Meta Family Center, then under "Accounts You Supervise" I clicked on his name. On the right side, I chose his birthday, which opens a new window, and then I choose "Edit" and enter in the correct birthday. It then says "Confirm Changes?" and I select "Confirm", but I get an error message that reads:

I got the below message as a response to my post above, but it doesn't help me. First, when I click their "name", it takes me to the Community Manager's profile, but there isn't a place to click "send a message". I've looked everywhere on their profile - even did a CTRL+F to find 'message' anywhere on the page - nothing. Two, I cannot reply to the message they sent me because every time I click Reply, it takes me to a Log in to Oculus screen (even though I'm already logged in). When I choose to login anyway, it takes me to the landing page for logging in, and I just repeat the process, never getting to a point of being able to send a message or reply to the one below. It's maddening.

Was this issue resolved for you?
I’m having the same exact issue and am about to send this thing back because my son cannot play the games he’s wants to play.

No. And I actually went back and forth in email with real people who told me - hope you're sitting down for this - IT CANNOT EVER BE CHANGED. You read that right. They can create augmented reality but they cannot change the birth date on a profile. I just logged in under myself and let me kid play it with my user account, which is super dangerous since I cannot ring-fence anything that way, and I've already heard ADULTS in the metaverse tell me kid to EAD and other unsavory things. Thanks, Meta! This is the email they sent before closing out my case.

I've been having the same issue. If you try to change the DOB on your child's account to 13 years of age or older, it will not do it. HOWEVER, if you change the DOB to be as if your child will turn 13 tomorrow, it WILL allow the change.
Of course, this will not result in the child's actual birthday being on the account, but the next day the account should be less restricted.
I just made these changes today on my child's account, so tomorrow we will see how it goes.
