And a question I ponder on aswell Can i use the charging cable that came with the quest3 and plug it directly into my laptops USB-C 3.2 gen2 port and let it charge a lil through there too?

With that being said, we recommend using your Meta Quest charging products that were included with the device. Using other products can damage your headset, or cause your device battery to drain.
