Charging issues, as well as powering issues since latest v76 update

Hello, I am using a 2nd-hand qpro that i got a little less than a year ago, and the past few days I've been having a crazy amount of problems.

To sum it up, charging is almost impossible. I've gotten it to charge normally twice in the past week, and every other time the battery is draining faster than it can charge. I've tried different outlets, power bricks, cables, orientation on the cable.

When trying to turn the device off normally, it gets stuck on the "updates in progress" screen, and doesn't go past that. Progress bar doesn't move, and it never turns off.

Once I decide to force turn it off by holding the power button down, it turns itself right back on, without me even having the headset on.

I've tried talking to Meta Support, trying their troubleshooting steps and none of them worked.

Is there any way I can fix this... I have yet to attempt a factory reset, because I am waiting on a charging pad i ordered since the one i got seemed to come broke, and both my pro controllers can't be charged. (By the way, ridiculous design to have chargeable controllers only be chargeable by that dock...)

Edit: It started working normally for the past 2-3 days after I let the battery drain, and waited about half a day to charge it. However, as of the 25th (coincidentally the same day where my quest pro updates again according to the "Software Update" tab in the settings), it has gone back to having these issues. Instead of the "updates in progress" notification stopping it from turning off, there is instead no indicator change except for the background going black, and then it turning off.

This is 100% a software issue. I understand battery degradation, but this is nothing close to what it could ever possibly be. On top of the struggle to even deliver power correctly...

It seems to have also affected the Quest 3, and they seem to be getting replacements for this, which is cool. Unfortunately, as a Quest Pro owner, being told they don't even offer PAID replacements, makes me not very hopeful to ever have my issue resolved.
