I purchased my son an Oculus 2 for his 9th bday last year....4 maybe 5months later while charging I smelled burning plastic and looked over to find dark smoke melting plastic and a flame that I quickly extinguished....the occulus Is obviously unusable. My sister sent emails with pics and SN# That was 6 months ago...I have yet to hear anything....I paid cash for it at a Walmart...so I unfortunately do not have the reciept....so there's nothing you can do? My house, my 5 kids could have all been homeless or killed!! And I can't even get a replacement?? THESE are expensive!! Especially for a single mom of 5 kids! Not fair!!
Just contact the Walmart store you bought it from. They should have your receipt on file. You may also want to contact meta support as well.
