My son’s Child account is unable to establish a wired link connection to PC presumably because his account is not permitted to sign into the desktop app on our PC.
The message presented suggests this is due to app restrictions - however, the parent account is at no time requested to approve the app for use.
How do I allow my Son to log into the desktop app?

Hey @HelmetSquad! We see you are having some trouble logging into the desktop Quest app. We want to let you know that your son should be able to log into the Meta Quest desktop app with no issues. We'd love to take a closer look at this. Please provide the details below:

Good day,
I'm also experiencing the same issue. I created child accounts for my kids, but I am unable to login to the Meta Quest Link app on my PC with my child's account. Please see the below error:
How can I grant my child account permission to use the Meta Quest Link app?

Hey there, @Birdman83ZA ! Thank you so much for providing that screenshot! With parent-managed accounts, there are many different settings that may be toggled. If you haven't already, be sure to check that the supervised account has permission to access the Meta Quest Link application. To view more information on parental supervision settings, click here.
Through the app, you can adjust parental settings by:
Adjust parental supervision settings on the Meta Quest mobile app.

If access is granted but the error message still persists, we would like to invite you to PM us. You can be directed to our support team by simply clicking here.
Thank you, and we look forward to assisting in any way we can.

Hi there,
Thank you for the information and links you supplied. It helped me find the right settings I was looking for.
Unfortunately, it seems that I am unable to change the settings for my child's account as he is not 13 years old yet:
I will have to create another account for him with a modified age to achieve this.
I do have another question as well, can you tell me where I can find the setting to enable casting his sessions on the Quest 2 to the Oculus app on my phone? It seems this is also blocked for child accounts, but it works fine for my own account.

Hi there,
Thank you for getting back to me and for your information. Unfortunately, I cannot cast from the Quest 2 headset when my child's account is logged in to my phone. I tried following the instructions on the link you sent. I logged into my child's account on my phone on the Oculus application, but when I try and pair the account with my Quest 2 headset and get to the "Look in your headset for a 5-digit code and enter it here." step, there's nothing displayed in my headset, only the menu bar. I'm not sure how to get around this problem.
