Chromatic aberation on Quest 3

kgeusens
Honored Guest

I noticed a very high degree of chromatic aberation for everything off center. The more off center, the worse it gets. This is extremely noticeable when browsing for example in the store. Buttons have colored halo's caused by chromatic aberation, and it is completely taking away the experience it should be. Is this software or hardware issue?

I don't see this.  Maybe your glasses, if using them, are the problem? Also face placement can make difference (up/down, left/right).  Otherwise, contact meta support I guess.

Hello support,

I kind of hoped I would get used to the chromatic aberation, but unfortunately I do not, and the issue is very outspoken.

* Factory reset: done

* Reboots: frequently tried

* Software level: latest

I do not wear glasses, and have played around with positioning/placement/IPD/... and the problem unfortunately remains the same.

Is there anything else you would like me to test? FYI, I do read more and more reports online with some people experiencing the same issue, but have not found any resolution yet.

Thanks for helping out!
