Close encounters no boundaries

I have a meta oculus 3 and close encounters was one of the first games I played and really liked it. I can no longer play the game because when I launch the game a get a screen that tells me I need to scan my environment but no way to do it. I have done everything except factory reset and it won’t function. How do I get the game back.

I just downloaded the first encounters game and could not get past the first screen that “scan your area”. I tried a factory reset as well as uninstalling a reinstalling the game and I still could not get the first encounters game to work. I also made sure that the software was up-to-date. Nothing seem to help very frustrated and looking to return the headset.
