Common: Difficulty in Windows11 Installing Oculus Application

Like many others here, I seem to have an issue fully installing the Oculus app I downloaded from Meta.

After downloading the installer app and running it, I eventually reach a point where I see the Meta logo and options to log into a Meta account, managed account or Oculus account.

I have an account with Meta via an account with Instagram. So I click on the Log into a Meta account button. I am then taken to a screen which tells me to "Continue in Your Browser", and mentions confirming my login via my default web browser. I run said browser and nothing further occurs. I even manually log in to Meta and still, nothing further occurs. If I try to run the Oculus app outright, I am simply taken to the Continue screen and nothing further happens.

I have disabled Webroot, and all Win11 security, as well as booting into Test Mode. I am not sure if I have a TPM on my PC. I accessed my BIOS settings but saw nothing pertaining to secure boot or whatnot.

At this point I am unable to use Quest Link, and my link cable, with my recently purchased Quest 3. I like the Q3 and would like to keep it ( i am still within my return window) but if I can't use it to run some PCVR titles as well, it is not as compelling of a product.

Please assist me in figuring how to get this PC app installed properly.

Thank you.
