Completely Dead MQ2

I have a complete dead MQ2.

I have tried charging it overnight.

Put it on and held the Power button for over 1second, then 10seconds.
The screens are completely black.

Tried different cables and power chargers, each for over 1 hour.

Tried the Volume-minus and Power button reset trick, with headset on head/off head/plugged in.
No joy.
the red power button occasionally flashes.
Tried connecting it to my HP Laptop. It doesn't recognise it, or appear as a device.
Any ideas next?
Steve

Hey @stephen.r.s.evans! We appreciate you reaching out to us and we understand how this can be problematic to have your Quest 2 Headset not charging and we really want to work with you in getting your headset charged again so you can hop back into using it again! There are a few things we can suggest to hopefully help get your headset charged!

- Attempt to keep the headset plugged in for at least 2 hours in an outlet and to remove the facial interface on the headset before trying to charge

- Try charging your headset using the default cable that comes with the headset itself and to have it plugged into a wall outlet using the 10w charging block that comes with the headset.

- Try a different cable or charging block if the default cables and block is not working

- If you have any 3rd party accessories attached to the headset, try removing that and then charging again for 2+ hours

- Try charging the headset using a different/multiple other outlets or computer devices

- Has there by chance been any liquids spilled on the device?

We look forward to hearing back from you!

Hello,

One thing I have noticed is that the red light flashes once every 20seconds when it is plugged into the original Meta charging block,
however I have followed your suggestions and these are the results:

- Attempt to keep the headset plugged in for at least 2 hours in an outlet and to remove the facial interface on the headset before trying to charge
Tried this, no change

- Try charging your headset using the default cable that comes with the headset itself and to have it plugged into a wall outlet using the 10w charging block that comes with the headset.
Tried this, no change

- Try a different cable or charging block if the default cables and block is not working
Tried this, no change

- If you have any 3rd party accessories attached to the headset, try removing that and then charging again for 2+ hours
The only accessory I use is the official Meta Quest Comfort Strap with Battery, all removed and tried again. No change

- Try charging the headset using a different/multiple other outlets or computer devices
Already tried this, but tried again, no change

- Has there by chance been any liquids spilled on the device?

Absolutely not, I keep it in its original transport box.

Any other ideas?

Regards
Steve
