I recently got the Meta Quest 3 Elite Strap (without battery) and noticed the Prop 65 warning on the packaging. I struggle a lot with anxiety when it comes to health risks, and seeing this warning has made me really worried.
I’m trying to understand if this is something I should genuinely be concerned about, or if it's just a standard precaution that Meta puts on all products. I don’t know much about Prop 65, so I’d really appreciate if someone could explain:
Does this mean the strap actually contains something harmful?
Is there any real risk from using it normally (like having it against my skin for long periods)?
Has Meta ever provided clear information about this, or is it just a legal requirement?
I know I might be overthinking this, but I just want to be sure it's completely safe so I can use it without stressing out. Any information or reassurance would mean a lot me.
Thanks!
