I have looked around on the internet and forums as much as I can to try to figure this out, but I don't see any solutions or acknowledgment from META on this.
At first, my right controller was draining rapidly - and I did all of the steps to see if I could fix this. From consistently changing the batteries to fresh ones, to disconnect, reconnecting, even resetting my headset to factory.
As my right controller dwindled, it got to the point where it just stopped functioning at all. So I purchased a new one. Today, I attempted to play Supernatural, and even with fresh batteries in (at first, I used rechargeables) - the LEFT controller is now draining fast. I put in two new non-rechargeables, on both controllers, restarted my headset, and just sat on the couch, looking through the META library while the little green dots drained down from 4 to 2 in a matter of MINUTES on my left controller.
META - what on earth is going on with your controllers? Am I going to have to re-invest a few hundred dollars each year for new controllers? This is a bit insane to see this kind of problem happen after a year of having this device.
Please do not respond with steps to "see if they work" I have tried it all - and I am a software support person as a job - troubleshooting is my life. There is something inherently wrong with either your devices, or the software powering these. Please give me a solid solution as to what may be happening. I use my headset for working out, and I have had to forego this, because my controllers keep failing. HELP!
