Same exact issue, it looks like v74 update broke second profiles. I have noticed the white multitask bar from the owner profile never disappears causing the issue.

V74 is buggy for additional accounts in many ways. There are several posts on the forum about that issue.
For me games are crashing when closing the quick menu with the Meta button. After that I'm back in my home and pressing any buttons on controller does nothing. I have to shut down the headset completely - bringing up the window to restart by pressing the power button is also not working - and then restart it.
For now there is nothing you can do other than sending a bug report to let Meta know about the problem and hope this will be resolved fast.

Thanks all for replying and confirming I'm not the only one with this issue and thanks for the link @Choleni. I've logged a bug report, hopefully this gets resolved quickly!

I can also confirm I have the same issues reported here, only when using the secondary accounts. Controllers plus hands rendered all the time in all games, games crashing and meta button not working to bring up menus (requiring a hard reset of the headset), secondary profiles not mapping new boundaries correctly, etc.
Started March 15th 2025. Primary account seems much more stable and I haven't noticed the same issues in brief testing.

I can also confirm that I'm having problems when trying to play any games or doing anything on my secondary account and experiencing issues like controller always rendering in game. It started just 2 days ago on the 15 and yet when I go to my primary account it works just fine.

I am having the same issue and took all the same steps. Thank you it’s great to know it’s a bug and they know about it. Hopefully it will be resolved soon
