Controller issue + suggestion

Is there anyway to pair a controller to my headset without using the meta horizon app? I need to know if there is a way because my controller is acting weird and will not connect, and when I replace the battery it takes a while before it starts to flash. I have a spare controller but my headset doesn’t connect to my mobile app either. 
if there isn’t a way to pair a controller, then I think meta should add a feature to v70 where you can pair controllers to the headset without using the app

Unfortunately the app is needed to pair the controllers with the headset. By the way, adding the ability to pair without the app to avoid situations like these is a pretty handy idea. You should definitely visit the Ideas forum and make that suggestion!
