Controller tracking issue

Hi there,

I appear to be having an issue with my Quest 3 controllers, where when they are placed down they continually lose tracking.

I am using them in a well lit room, with no reflective surfaces, they have new batteries, and I have reset them and checked for updates also but still seem to be getting the issue.

  • Has the tracking worked properly before?
  • Are you using third-party accessories or covers with your device?
  • Are you having issues with both controllers?
  • When did this issue occur? Do you experience this issue with certain games or apps?
  • Does it happen in the home environment or on menus?

This does seem to have been something that has continually been a problem.

 

I dont use any covers etc.

 

Yes this is applicable to both controllers

 

It seems to happen, no matter which game I'm playing, and does include the home environment and menus.

We do have some troubleshooting steps that can be taken to resolve this issue outside of the ones you have already named. Have you attempted to unpair and pair the controllers to the headset? Hi there, yes I have tried this a few times and I'm still getting the same issue.

For clarification, you mentioned losing tracking when you placed down your Quest 3 controllers; did you mean the Meta Quest Touch controllers by chance?
