Ive been using meta quest 2 for 2 years I've enjoyed it so much I spent over 3k buying additional tech Gaming PC that meets the requirements in overkill, base stations vive trackers index controllers. Maybe it's just time for a new headset, but I'm not hard on the headset no drops or damages or any kind of miss use water damage nothing i take great care of it placing it in a drawer after use, I'd really like to keep this one and continue using oculus but recently my headset just wouldn't connect to my PC anymore, I thought it was a malfunction in the link cable, bought a new one still nothing.. I tried a clean install of the oculus app on my PC.. nothing. I tried air linking. Wouldn't work I was forced to try and factory reset my headset but only have one working original (Left) controller and am now stuck at the pairing screen where I need to pull the tabs out.
Obviously it's not an option because I've already done that.. I tried taking out the batteries unpairing re pairing on the mobile app with pressing the menu button and the Y button still can't get passed that screen.
I wanted to see if both controllers were required but still cant bypass the pairing screen regardless. If two controllers are required I'd just have to buy an index headset instead is there anyway I can still use my quest2 with one controller and get past the pull tab out to pair screen.

Hey there, @ModernGnasher. Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention and we truly appreciate you enjoying gaming as much as we do! Currently, we are experiencing an emerging issue with our PC software not detecting a link cable which we're looking further into. While we understand you're stuck at the controller pairing screen, both controllers would need to be present to continue setting up the device. With the left controller working, we'd love to better understand the condition of your right controller to get you back up and running!
Once you're able to provide these details, we'll continue working to get everything set up once more!
