Ever since I starting using the rechargeable batteries that came with the Mata charging dock, mt controllers intermittently lose connection. Could be a coincidence on the timing but seems unlikely. Anyone having this issue?

Meta sent me new batteries and I've had no issue since.

Howdy! We see you're having issues with your rechargeable batteries and know this is not the experience you should be having. We know it has been a few days and we apologize on our late reply. But we wanted to see if anything has changed so far regarding your controllers? Have you gone back to regular batteries and seeing if you loose connection as well?
We hope to hear back from you as soon as possible to work together in getting you back on track!

Yes, the issue persists. Seems to happen mainly when platlying high controller movement game. Happens at other times as well but not cosistently. Loose battery maybe?

I will try regular batteries to see if still happens.

I switched the batteries out to regular durcell yesterday and have had no issues at all. Leads me to conclude that there's an issue with the chargeable batteries that came with charging dock. The fit is just not snag enough. This leaves me with not being able to use them...

Same issue here. Regular battery works - meaning the charging dock is essentially pointless.
Any more help from Meta?

Pretty much. The rechargeable batteries need to be just a bit longer. Meta CS just runs through their spiel and you get nowhere. Realistically though, other than a redesign of the batteries there's not much they can do I suppose.

Hey @MauiMurph! VR content can range from a plethora of activity levels—from spontaneous, to clear and precise movements! Your batteries should be stable throughout the whole experience, no matter how crazy your movements get! Returned my docking station today for this issue. The controller batteries are hopeless. Fed up of taking them in and out to get a connection, then for it to fail again 10 minutes later. Will just use standard rechargeable batteries from now on as they work fine. Standard alkaline batteries also work fine.
A shame as I like the dock and batteries albeit a bit expensive
