Hi all,
Hope you are all keeping well. Hopefully someone can help me. I decided about 4 weeks ago to Factory Reset my Quest 3. There seemed to be a load of…. Left over files I guess from Demos and uninstalled games/apps and I was having a graphical glitch issue too.
Since factory resetting my Quest I have had nothing but issues with the controllers connecting to the Quest. I Power the quest on, once it boots to the Home Screen I can see my controllers and hand outline (I’m in pass through mode). I can see the wee cursor dot. Can see my fingers moving. I can move the cursor dot about the screen but none of the buttons on both controllers work. Can’t open anything at all, Games, apps, settings, built in apps nothing. I can hear the system noise that happens when you click on icons but nothing registers the click. I have to restart my quest 3 or 4 times before it starts working. Then the controllers work fine until I shut the Quest down again.
I have also unpaired and repaired both my left and right controllers multiple times to try an fix it but that doesn’t help.
I know its not my grips (bobboVR ones) or the batteries (changed multiple times) as the controllers do work after restarting the headset a few times and the problem still happens when I remove the grips.
My controllers worked perfectly before the first Factory Reset (I’ve been using the grips with my controllers for a few months now)
I am now on my 3rd Factory Reset in 3 weeks. The issues is completely putting me off using my Quest. Hopefully someone here can offer some suggestions to a fix. (Quest isn’t still in warranty)
