Controllers on multiple headsets stopped working same time

I have two quest 3 headsets. I use one every morning for my morning workout. Today grandkids are over and we are wanting to play but can't because controllers on both headsets do not connect.

I unpaired them and repaired them. The controllers sync to the headset but when you pull the trigger to select a game nothing happens. On either headset.

Was there another fabulous update or something?

The last update put my headset into a continuous loop and I was forced to send my new headset back to get a refurbished which really pissed me off. So I'm just curious what you guys did to break stuff this time...

After re-pairing the controllers, one headset started working, though I had to repeat the process a couple of times.

On the other headset, the controllers connected, but I could not make selections with the right-hand controller. I tried re-pairing the controller several times. One suggestion was to factory reset the controllers, but I couldn’t. I held down the appropriate button on each controller and pressed the other button five times, but nothing happened on either controller.

In the end, I had to pair the controller directly in the headset to be able to make selections with the right-hand controller. Pairing it through the app would connect the controller, but I couldn't make selections using the right trigger. Selections worked fine with the left-hand controller. This seems to indicate a bug with the app (app version 311.0.0.15.109). At this point, though, it feels pointless to report anything as all resolutions seem to start with a factory reset and losing all my installations.

Additionally, there's an issue with renaming or deleting headsets in the app. I have two Quest 3s, but the app still shows a third one — an old headset that I had to send back. It’s frustrating that there’s no option to rename or remove headsets either in the app or on the headset itself, making it difficult to tell which headset is which.
