I just got out my Oculus Quest after about 2 years. Now I wanted to login and play a bit of climb, but had to realize that nothing works as expected. After some updates it seems that I would need a Meta Account, but after further research such a Meta Account wouldn't include my purchases (which are above 100€ worth of games).
I read that there should be an email with a link to restore said purchases, but it seems like I neither received a warning about the new meta accounts nor such a store restoration.
Trying to reach out to the support I have to add that it seems really confusing to me how to get in contact in the first place! Most "Get help" links just end up in random tutorials or at least need my occulus quest id, which is not recognized (maybe because its the occulus quest 1...
Is this the right place for help? Where could I contact the support and how would I successfully create a working account with the purchases I made before.
The old Oculus accounts were deleted if they weren't migrated to a Meta account by end of March 2024. Normally, all users received emails reminding them of that date.....
You can reach out to support here on forum. Send a PM @MetaQuestSupport maybe they are still able to restore your account. Click on their name to visit their profile page, then click the "send message" button.
I checked my mails, but only found emails for the purchased products. But I will send a pm to the support! Thank you
