My friend/roommate got my DK2 when I switched to the CV1. He has just gotten around installing it. In rift setup the sensor is detected ok, but neither the HDMI nor the USB on the headset is detected.
If he skips the setup, the dk2 lights up with the health and warning messege (hover here for...bla bla bla) and then cuts to a screen saying something along the lines of "you oculus is not ready for you yet". The tracking works during this but of course nothing will launch.
He is running Win 7 64bit.
* Latest GFX drivers installed * Updated the USB drivers * Latest windows updates installed * uninstalled/reinstalled Oculus runtime/drivers/home * Tested all USB ports (currently plugged in to USB3) * Restarted numerous times * Tested HDMI (currently plugged in), DP --> HDMI, DVI --> HDMI * Tested ok on my computer
Ideas?

That post references CV1 and Win 10. This is DK2 and Win 7. Furthermore, We have tried the things in that thread already. You can see everything we tried in the OP
