Has anyone noticed that the virtual environments are darker than they used to be? Is there like a day/night cycle that runs based on actual time of day?

Heya ToolShedCub. We understand how having the environment be seemingly darker can cause some discomfort or distraction. While we want to do want to get to the bottom of this for you, we'll need some additional information from you.
Can you tell us what device you are using? Can you also tell us what version update you are on? With all of that we'll get a better understanding of what could be causing this and how to better assist you with this. We look forward to your update and figuring all of this out with you.

Thanks for reaching back out and providing that information. Can you tell us if this is just the home screen and environment that is darker than usual or is it in game as well? Are you also able to send us a picture of what it looks like on your screen?
So we did actually have a recent update for version 47, as of last week. You can try to update your headset to see if that resolves the problem as well. You can reboot the headset to try and update it as well. Please follow these steps to do so.

It did actually. Wasn't fond of waiting for my stuff to reinstall but yeah it solved the issue
