Less than 48 hrs into my VR journey and the RH controller is glitching - so it just virtually spins and points everywhere when I pick it up. The LH controller works fine.
I’ve tried recharging, turning off/on, confirmed I’m not missing any updates, picking up goggles only and using hand tracking for some minutes before picking up hand controllers. I’ve also waited until daytime to see if it was a lighting issue. Apart from factory reset, what else can I try?

Update on my original post - I’ve changed the battery and unpaired/repaired. It’s still glitching…. Purchase through meta. How do I get a replacement sent to me?

Hi, @Lono95! Having the controller "glitch" 48 hours into your VR journey is not our intention. Did the RH controller ever work properly? When does this issue occur? Does it happen only in certain games? Does it happen in the Home environment or in menus? Tips and tricks to recalibrate are below:

Yes, the Right Hand controlelr worked well for the first 48 hours - now is total rubbish all of hte time - both in games and out of games it spins continuously/glitches. The headset knows where the controller is, just not where it's pointing - continuous glitch/multi direction pointing. A really poor experience for first time VR user - now I have to send back overseas before replacement gets to me in 2-3 weeks. None of my games allow hand tracking either (noting that hand tracking works well for both hands) so I'm a bit frustrated. Also, the instructions for resetting hand controller don't work - and i've read in other reviews that it hasn't worked for others -no blue light etc.

At this time, the last troubleshooting step that we can have you try would be a factory reset. Before attempting it, please be sure to have Cloud backup enabled, which backs up app data and settings to the Cloud. For steps to perform the factory reset, please visit our article: here. Nothing has worked, so your support staff organised for me to return my hand controller. Now just waiting for it to FEDEX overseas and then new controller FEDEX back out to me ... could be a couple of weeks
