Delete account.

My son sold my quest 2 at his mom's yard sale and I didn't have the opportunity to factory reset it. I can't access the email used for the account, and it keeps saying the serial number is invalid.. how do I get my account deleted? Is there someone I can call?

Hey there, @typeonekenny! We certainly get wanting to have reset the headset prior to no longer having access. Not to worry though, as it is possible to remotely wipe the Meta Quest following the steps below:

1. On a computer or mobile phone, navigate to https://secure.oculus.com/my/devices/
2. Choose your headset from the list of devices.
3. Click DELETE DEVICE DATA.
4. Complete the verification flow to confirm your identity.
5. Once the factory reset is complete, your device will disappear from the list. It will then be factory reset the next time that it comes online.
   • If you don't see this option, your device's software version may not support remote wipe.
