I'm using the Quest one which is an old VR headset after my Rift S one broke down. During December 2024 Update, My quest controller tracking is gone whenever I start playing any game from steam while using the Meta Quest Link. BUT tracker still working in hub area including pressing the oculus button to quit the game but in any game, tracker stop working anymore.
I try method like factory reset, unpairing and repairing or whatever. It doesn't work
What's work is only putting one controller to idle and the another controller to be awake. Moving around the awake controller, the tracker work fine until I pick up both controller to wake up and it lost track. I BEEN asking for help from the Meta Support team and they gave me no advice on how to fix it. I did shown them the video

Meta Quest support gave me one advice then went complete silence. I made this fresh account so I can aleast have a fix for this.
(If you tell me about getting steam link. I did try and realized it DOES NOT SUPPORT QUEST 1 VR)
This is not the latest version but this APK is signed for use along with Meta Quest store so you may be able to update it. As I could access to the latest version for the Quest 1 (I paid this and luckily made a backup before Meta sabotage its app download API for Quest 1), PM me if you cannot update to the latest Virtual Desktop version after sideloading the official APK from Guy Godin's GitHub repo and I will send the updated version to you 🙂

Don't think you guys know about the problem since you guys abandoned the Old Quest 1 and left both firmware and the Airlink to be malfunction. Its being like 4 months during the December 2024. The Quest 1 Airlink have being malfunction and no update from those 4 month fixed it
While we may not support updates or security patches to the Quest 1 anymore, we'd still like to see what we can do to help our remaining Quest 1 users as much as possible! Just to confirm, are you still having issues with the controller tracking as well or is it just the air link you're having problems with now?

In the Clip. I'm trying to play any games after I airlink into the Meta Quest Link. My controller tracking were completely fine at the Oculus Menu or any VR Hub before entering a steam VR game. once Launched a game
All Tracking just stopped in game like ALL games while pressing the quest menu showing my controller tracking still tracking in the menu but not in Games. Being trying to find a Solution for months or a year now but since you guys stop with the update for Quest 1 Users. We got a BRICKED VRheadset
