Hi all,
Back in August, my Meta accounts got disabled (or rather my Facebook account, which I used for my Quest 3), following an Instagram account hack (despite 2FA). I never had an Instagram account, but a hacker managed to link a scam IG account to my Meta Accounts Centre/Facebook. This scam IG account did not respect the rules, and therefore got disabled. As a consequence, my own FB account also got disabled, and I was not able to access my games library on my Meta Quest 3 anymore (for which I used my FB credentials) - games and apps acquired since 2022 when I first owned a Quest 2.
All the FAQ's and resources available are not helpful, because they always suppose that I am able to login into the disabled IG account for an appeal. I can't, because it was not mine in the first place.
I filled in an online form, apparently only accessible in the EU: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/837980354337486. This was more than a month ago, but except for a confirmation mail with a reference number, I haven't heard anything back.
Every time I launched my Quest, I received a message that my age needs to be verified. I should log into my FB account and enter a code shown on the Quest. I couldn't, obviously.
I hope you see the problem here.
A couple of days ago I created a new account and bought with this account two games which I had used regularly for exercise, just to be able to use my Quest 3 again (though I basically paid for these two games twice), until the issue is (hopefully) solved.
I'm by far not the only one concerned by the IG hack, but many people don't experience the additional issue with the Quest because they simply don't own one.
I don't know if my problem will ever be solved, but this is a cry for help - and to let others know that they are not the only ones with the issue if they happen to see my message. It is infuriating if you have paid for stuff that you can't use anymore, and it is not even your fault.
Kind regards.

That page is broken.
I cannot access it.

True, for some reason a comma at the end of the link is added when you just click on it. If you remove it in the address bar of your browser and refresh the page it should work. Or you just manually select the address in my post and copy-paste it.
I've been in touch with Meta Support (I did what they asked in the reply) and will post an update about the issue (I should receive a mail from support in the coming days for the next steps).
