Dk2 Runtime 1.3.1 Not displaying to HMD

So I have been waiting a long time for you guys to make a release that supports the majority of your user base and I thought with the release of CV1 you guys got it together. I have only been getting my DK2 working with the 1.0.6 runtime a long time ago. Made ticket's, read bunches of blog post of all the massive amounts of problems people were having and I gave up on this thing. My computer exceeds requirements by a large margin so I should have no issues...

Now, with this new issue I find myself hitting is after uninstalling and removing all the old files from 1.0.6 I restarted my computer and then installed 1.3. Now from what I under stand is suppose to happen is that my DK2 should then be showing the Oculus home front. It does not and stays amber and the tracking sensor does not turn on. Looking at the devices in the settings you will see that the sensor and HMD are connected and green status indication everything should be just peachy. But no video is appearing in the HMD. Below shows I pass all hardware requirements.

So then if I install and launch a game, ex Lucky's Tale, I will get a application window with still no response from my HMD, the light still stays amber but the tracking sensor will turn on.The application window gets a small image in it and if I move the HMD around I'll see some movement so it is tracking that. Then if I close that window the tracking sensor remains on. Still no response from HMD.

I attached every log file I could possibly grab and I am running runtime 1.3.1.203425 (1.3.1.207417). I have reinstalled 4 times. This will be my last attempted before moving on to another product I don't need to jump through hoops on fire to get working.

Other notes:

Not that I think it matters but I am running 4 monitors in addition to the HDM on a GTX980 card, and yes I did unplug all but one to see if that was an issue. Same result.

How do you know which version of oculus application do you have? And if update from 1.3.0 to 1.3.1 doesn't start automatically, can you forced application to check and install updates?
DK1: Shipped | DK2: Ordered (19.3.2014 10:17 AM PDT), Processing (25.7.2014), Shipped (28.7.2014), Delivered (4.8.2014)

Under settings->General it shows it, not sure if it auto updates I don't see any options to check for them. I only installed 1.3.1 and not 1.3.0 so I'm not sure.

So just as a brainstorming kind of thing:
"Not that I think it matters but I am running 4 monitors in addition to the HDM on a GTX980 card, and yes I did unplug all but one to see if that was an issue."
Did you after you unplugged the displays also:
 - reboot without the displays connected
 - after the reboot, try to put the Oculus into different HDMI ports on your video card (or at least unplug/ replug it if you have only one HDMI out)?

Yes after I unlugged, I tried, then restarted and same issue and rotated the ports.

Let me just preface this by saying that my DK2 worked yesterday, but then stopped displaying to my HMD when I tried this morning.

I was able to find a specific set of steps that fixed the problem for me.
    - Quit out of the Oculus application.
    - Turn off the DK2 with the button on the headset.
    - Unplug the HDMI cable, then plug it back in.
    - Turn on the DK2 with the headset button
    - Launch the Oculus application.

I did this after reinstalling Oculus, but it was still broken after the reinstall, so I don't think that mattered. I hope this works for you; it was a very frustrating problem.
