I also have no 'Rift Display mode' menu thingy in the configuration like I used to. I have the rift screen turned on, when its power is on. I thought with direct mode it should be off unless Im playing somthing? help?!

Update: I have got the demo scene etc showing, its playing at about 1fps on my GTX 770 with an I7, 14% cpu utilization there is absolutely no reason for it to be this bad!
Update 2: I've disabled HT, tryed official games for 0.7, they all lag like @%@%.

Just to make sure my GPU wasn't on the fritz i ran a benchmark, its not the gpu playing up.

Solved by reformatting WI dows 10 after everything else failed to provide results
