Hello,
Im trying to find buds for Q3. I tried my old galaxy buds pro but latency was unbearable.
Jlab Epic Lab Edition got my attention. It has Bluetooth LE (on paper should improve latency by alot). Im wondering if Quest 3 support that? Those buds come with type c usb dongle too but person from Jlab commented : "They support LC3 and LE over bluetooth only, the dongle uses OPUS to allow for easy low latency connections but does not use or support LE audio".

Anyone?

I'm not sure. I have used USB headphones on Quest devices and have seen low latency devices like the ones you are talking about. Some wireless earbuds are specifically made for meta devices like the Soundcore VR P10 which has an angled dongle.

I did buy Jlab Epic Lab Edition. It works great with dongle. Latency is non existant. On package it says USB C-Dongle (provides instant connection, low latency and enables Bluetooth LE Audio.

Hey there @Konttu! We know having all the right accessories makes for the best VR experience, and we want to try and point you in the right direction. Check this article here to see some options that are compatible with the Quest 2 and should also be a good choice for your Quest 3. You can also check out the Meta Store, and either checkout the Razer Hammerhead HyperSpeed Earbuds or the Soundcore by Anker Wireless VR Earbuds.
We think either of these options could be a great fit. We'd love to know which ones you go with!

Hey,
Thank you. Those you listed are good but Razer Hammerhead Hyperspeed for Meta is not available in EU. 🙂
But can you confirm that Bluetooth LE Audio is supported on Quest? I didn't find that info anywhere.
Anyway those Jlab buds I have are working very well with dongle. Highly recommended.

@Konttu Thank you for the swift response, after further review the Bluetooth LE Audio does not fall under our compatible list of headphones for the Quest 2.
