Does Quest 3 Link support Wake On Lan (WOL) to wake up a sleeping PC?

Hello! I hope someone can help!

I have a Meta Quest 3, using latest firmware (V72). It's connected to my Wi-Fi 6E and all seems to be working fine!

When I try to connect to my Ethernet connected Windows 10 PC, if the PC is awake, running and logged in, Link works ok!

However, if the PC is asleep, Link won't find, nor connect to my PC.

If I use a separate Android App on my phone, connected via the same Wi-Fi to send a "Wake" packet to my PC, my PC will wake up from sleep, so I know the WOL functions are working!

Does the Quest 3 send a WOL packet if it can't see its previously connected PC online?

If not, how can this be fixed? Am I missing a setting somewhere?

I did some searching and it seems the 'Virtual Desktop" app is reported to somehow do this, so why not the Quest native Link function?

Perhaps I have some setting wrong?

I have a second related question, but first the WOL issue is the priority and needs to be answered first!

The second question: If I have a user account on the PC that requires a login (password or PIN), shouldn't the Meta Quest Link app present the login to the Quest 3 user? I would think this is needed for security! If I'm not at the PC to have previously logged in, the Meta 3 just seems to wait forever for the connection to be established, which never happens. It sort of defeats the purpose of allowing a Link connection if I have to be at my PC to use it.

A work around for this login issue is to disable the login requirement of Windows, but I feel this is a bit dangerous!

Thanks for any help!

Perhaps they can add a "wake up sleeping PC" button to the Link function?

It might be simple to add.

Then allow the desktop app to be able to handle the PC Login window.
