trying to download the latest Unity package for The Rift and its taking an HOUR to download a 250 mb package. serious Oculus get better servers. and no my internet connection is fine thank you.
I have the same issue here in England. 120mb fibre broadband but its taking half an hour to download 250mb from the oculus home. Not the end of the world but something obviously not right.
It's taking forever for me to download the Oculus Runtime. It gets to 0.6 mB then it stalls and says it will takes hours to finish downloading. At this rate I won't be able to show new demos to my family visiting for Thanksgiving. When I try speedtest.net I am getting 40mbps down.
I have the same problem from the UK, although to me it looks like a throttling issue at the Oculus end, because if I use a download accelerator and connect with 8 connections, I can grab the files 8 times faster, all connections are throttled at the same speed.
