In the new Core 2.0 beta update, if you turn 90º right from your pc screen, pop up the dash bar and attempt to move it, then: - Moving your hand up/down moves the bar up/down as expected. - Moving your hand to the right will move the bar to the back. - Moving your hand to the left will move the bar to the front. - Moving your hand to the front or rear will not move the bar at all: it attempts to move it sideways, but lateral position is always locked centered, so it stays where it is.
If, however, you pop up the dash bar while looking stright into your pc screen, all 3 axes movement works correctly (not just up/down).
In other words, the UI assumes you are unhiding the dash bar only when you are looking at what you had set up as "front" during the oculus area setup process (usually your PC screen).
